Swaffham Prior C of E Primary School

Keep Growing

It has been announced that phased school returns could happen from 1st June (after half term) at the earliest. The Prime Minister has said this will be done in stages, beginning with Reception, Year 1 and Year 6. Working with DEMAT, and in accordance with Government Guidance, we have produced our risk assessment. If you would like to view this, please visit the Coronavirus page on our website.

Our lunches are provided by Chartwells who use locally sourced ingredients, with a choice of hot and cold main courses and puddings. Children are encouraged to choose a balanced meal, before selecting a pudding. There are vegetarian options available, as well as a salad bar, on a daily basis. Parents and children are invited to view the weekly menu, which is on display outside the front entrance and via the web link below.

School meals for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are funded by the Government.

The current cost for Key stage 2 children is £2.30 per child per day. This should be paid for in advance, either on a Monday morning in a named envelope to the office; or for each half term or term, by cheque (payable to the school). If your child is eligible for free school meals, please follow the link below to apply.

Facilities are provided for children bringing a packed lunch. A strong plastic container should be used, clearly marked with the child’s name. Drinks should be in a non-breakable plastic container or cardboard carton and should not be fizzy.
